Biography
kc dyer was born in Calgary, and after a peripatetic decade or two now lives with an ever-changing menagerie of children and other animals in a village north of Vancouver, British Columbia. kc is the author of a number of books for young adults that are published in North America and the UK. Having a secret fondness for inducing nausea in teens, kc can often be found sharing some of the greatest grotesque moments in history with large groups of students of all ages.
Guest speaker/Presentation information
kc dyer, author of six historical fiction and contemporary novels for young adults, is a dynamic speaker available to come to your English/Writing and Social Studies classes. A former teacher and award-winning writer, kc dyer has spoken before thousands of students in grades 4 – 12. She has appeared as a presenter at the Surrey International Writers’ Conference, Word on the Street, the Canadian Children’s Book Tour and many other events. Talks are structured to suit the audience and are available for groups of all sizes.
