…as this week’s Bedtime Story has been postponed until this evening. It is the [sorry] result of a Big Bet I lost this summer with a writer friend of mine. The prize he won in beating me in our Summer Spectacular Word Count race is…a poem, lauding him and written by me. The performance of this poem will be this very evening, in the very public setting of the Surrey International Writers’ Conference, wearing an outfit of his choice.
The outfit is more of a costume.
A pretty ridiculous costume.
But, hey — a bet’s a bet. You’ll hear it all here…just a bit later than usual this week.
