Featured Author: Rahma Rodaah

Updated: Feb 4, 2021

In celebration of #BlackHistoryMonth, I'm featuring a BIPOC writer for every day of February. And as a special treat for subscribers to my newsletter, every week one lucky winner will win a copy of a book from each of that week's seven featured writers. Winners will be announced right here on the blog, starting this Saturday night.

Need to catch up? This week's feature writers include Beverly Jenkins, and Jael Richardson.

Today, we're meeting Rahma Mohamed, who writes as Rahma Rodaah, from Edmonton, Alberta. She's author of MUHIIMA'S QUEST and LITTLE BROTHER FOR SALE, and has a couple of very exciting new projects in the works.

Rahma Rohdaah's stories feature Muslim characters with African roots, and sparkle with life for young readers, and I'm super-excited to read what she's got coming next. You can learn about Rahma's writing for kids -- and even watch her TedTalk! -- on her website here.

A reminder that this Saturday, I'll be doing the first of four draws this month, which will include a book from Rahma -- along with books from Beverly Jenkins, Jael Richardson and four others! -- which will be up for grabs for a lucky newsletter subscriber.

Make sure you're signed up at kcdyer.com and watch here for new featured writers every day this week.

More soon...
