CL Polk is a new writer to me, but the minute I read the description of their books, I was intrigued . CL's debut novel WITCHMARK, first in a trilogy, serves up fantasy mixed with intrigue, magic, betrayal and romance. This is clearly a winning combination, as WITCHMARK won the World Fantasy Award in 2019, and was nominated for the Nebula, Lambda, Locus, and the Aurora prizes.
CL's newest novel, THE MIDNIGHT BARGAIN, a Canada Reads finalist, looks to be equally filled with mystical, witchy, romantic goodness. I can't wait to read it!
